Video Translation

Localize videos efficiently by generating translated text that can power captions, voiceover scripts, and dubbing. Built for brand and product content, the workflow supports consistent terminology and clear review steps to reduce errors before publishing. Outputs are designed to integrate smoothly into subtitle and dubbing tools, making it easier to scale the same video across multiple markets.

Key Features

  • Localization-first pipeline: Built to support both translated text and downstream dubbing/caption workflows.
  • Terminology consistency: Glossary support for product demos and brand-critical language.
  • Review-friendly outputs: Clear text deliverables that speed up validation and approvals.
  • Export-ready deliverables: Formats suitable for captions, voiceover scripts, and production handoff.

Agencies handing off to production

Deliver translated text in formats subtitle editors and voice talent can work with directly.

How it will work

  1. 1

    Bring your video

Start from the video you want to localize. The workflow is being built for brand and product content.

  2. 2

    Translate with consistent terminology

Translated text is planned to follow your glossary, so product and brand language stays the same in every version.

  3. 3

    Review and export

Approve clear text deliverables, then export them for captions, voiceover scripts, or a dubbing handoff.

Frequently asked questions

Will it create captions, a voiceover, or both?
Video Translation is planned to produce the translated text that powers captions and voiceover scripts. A dubbed voice track is the job of Video Dubbing, a separate tool that is also coming soon.
Can I keep brand terms consistent?
Yes, that's a core part of the plan. Glossary support is designed for product demos and other brand-critical language.
Will there be a review step?
Yes. Outputs are designed to be easy to review, so translations can be checked and approved before publishing.
Can I translate a video today?
Partly. Speech to Text, which is live, accepts MP4, MOV, M4V, WEBM, and MKV videos, transcribes the audio, and can translate the transcript into up to eight languages. You can then download SRT or VTT subtitles, including a dual-language file.
When will Video Translation launch?
It's an upcoming tool we're actively building. We're not committing to a date yet. Check back here or follow us on X for launch news.
